Ladies of Hope and Light [MC, TG, TF]
“I still can't believe Davis made us stay behind just to show us his new soccer ball.” T.K sighed as he walked hand in hand with Kari across the grassy fields of the Digital World. The couple, along with Patamon and Gatomon, were checking out a new land that had been discovered not that long ago in the Digital World. Izzy had given them the coordinates and according to his information there were multiple areas. The four of them were meeting Tai and Agumon who had gone on ahead to see what kind of place it was. From the last message that Tai had sent them it sounded as if he'd made contact with the leader of the city, which was quite exciting.Especially to Kari, who merely chuckled at T.K's frustration with Davis. She squeezed his hand playfully before shaking her head. “It's just who he is. I don't think Davis will ever change.”“I don't know, he's matured somewhat in the past couple of years.” Gatomon spoke up, walking a few paces in front of Kari who chuckled. “Of course he does still act a little silly at times.” She added with a giggle.“And still gets your name wrong, T.K.” Patamon chirped, sitting on top of T.K's white bucket hat.T.K sighed and shook his head at Patamon's comment, though couldn't help but laugh in the end. All three were right about Davis and it was doubtful he'd change that much. It was just his character and they would have to deal with it. T.K discarded the thought a moment later and gave Kari's hand a gentle squeeze back. He decided to change the subject to something a bit more fun. “So your birthday is in a couple of weeks time, have you given any thought to what you want as a present? Or what you'd like to do on the day? It is a Saturday after all.”Kari thought about it, smiling as she did. “Well in the evening we'll probably go out to dinner and as my boyfriend, you'll be expected to come.” She explained, and T.K couldn't help but grin at the comment. Four months on and he still couldn't believe that he and Kari were dating. “During the day we could have a trip to the Digital World, just the two of us?”“Hey what about us two?” Patamon interrupted the two of them, causing T.K and Kari to laugh in response before T.K glanced up at his partner and smiled.“I'm sure the two of you will be able to come.”“I don't know, it would be nice to have some time alone to ourselves.” Kari mused with a playful smile on her face. She looked to the two Digimon before giggling and nodding her head.“See, you're both invited.” There was laughter from the four of them and with that settled, they continued their journey. It wasn't long before they reached the coordinates that Izzy had sent them. They had responded to Tai's email when he mentioned that he'd made contact with the leader of the city, in which Tai had sent back that it was a simple town, but when Kari looked on at the tall buildings and ornate decorations, she was amazed. It was beautiful, the architecture was rare to see, even in the Digital World. She smiled before rushing ahead, leaving TK, Patamon and Gatomon behind, bemused at how excited Kari was at the new location.“What do you reckon the odds are she already has her camera out?” Patamon asked as the three of them walked on to catch up. Neither TK or Gatomon answered. It was a safe bet that Kari did indeed have her camera out and ready to take as many pictures of the new location as she could. As they walked onto the first street, TK had a feeling that they'd be returning multiple times so Kari could take as many pictures as possible before she felt that she had enough. “Where has she gone?” Patamon added before they walked around the corner into a new street, noticing the distinct pink top that Kari wore. She stood talking to a Digimon, a bronze version of Andromon if they had to guess. Walking forward, Kari turned and waved them over.“Right on time, this is Maschinenmon. He's been sent by Tai and... did you say Sireniamon?”“I did indeed, Lady Hikari, and it is an honour to meet you all.” The Digimon responded, and there was a confused look from the four of them at the use of the title 'Lady' though Kari seemed to like it. “Lord Takeru, Lady Hikari, Sireniamon, leader of Eloinan has extended to you both an invitation to meet at the palace. Lord Taichi is currently dining with our leader as we speak. He asked that I escort you there immediately.”“Lord Taichi? Lady Hikari? Uh... I... you don't have to be so formal Maschinenmon.” TK began with a small chuckle, shaking his head. “Just TK is fine for me.” He didn't speak for Kari, she seemed to like the use of her full formal name.“Oh but it is,” Maschinenmon responded. “it is good manners and decorum to use the proper titles, especially for the Digidestined; those that have kept the world safe and allowed us to flourish as we have.” the Digimon said before spreading his arms, encompassing the gathered Digimon. It was then that the four of them noticed that a crowd had gathered. The Marimon and Fredamon had come to see more of the Digidestined. TK guessed that they had seen Tai and Agumon passing through and to see any more would have been a spectacle to them. He also wondered whether they knew that he, Kari and Tai were the Digidestined that had helped save the Digital World or whether they had only found out because Maschinenmon told them.TK glanced over to Kari who was speaking with the feminine Digimon -Marimon- and was asking about the dress the Digimon wore as part of her appearance. This was a side to Kari he had not seen before and it was peculiar. Peculiar, but amusing. Kari was almost like Mimi in the way she appeared to be gushing over the full length gown. Perhaps Mimi was taking Kari shopping too many times. TK didn't know, but he didn't see the harm in it. After all, TK often pictured Kari wearing such beautiful gowns. Maybe in Eloinan he'd see it happen.“I must apologise Lady Hikari, but I was instructed by Sireniamon to bring you to the palace as soon as you arrived.”Kari appeared to be a little saddened by the comment, looking at her camera. She had just taken a picture of both Miramon and Fredamon together and looked as if she wanted to take more. “Will we get an opportunity to see more of the city?”With a deep bow, Maschinenmon nodded his head. “Lady Hikari, after your meeting with Lady Sireniamon, it would be my greatest honour to escort you around the city and show you everything Eloinan has to offer.” He stated before standing tall and holding his arm out, gesturing for the four newcomers to walk with him in the direction of the castle. Kari was content with the idea and so walked on, Gatomon stepping in beside her. TK stood back, looking at the gathered Digimon.“Something the matter?” Patamon asked, having settled on top of TK's head.“Not sure Patamon... something feels a little off.”“How come?”“Not sure. Call it a gut feeling but I just think there's more to this Eloinan than meets the eye. Not to mention I'm finding it a little creepy being called Lord Takeru.” He explained before taking a breath and moving on. He didn't want to fall too far behind and Kari had turned to them, waving the pair forward so they could catch up. She was happy with it, and while he wasn't going to let his guard down completely, TK decided to roll with it and see where it went.-X-Before they had entered the interior of the manor Kari had, as expected, stopped to take a great deal of photographs. It was an impressive building, and Patamon commented about having a manor to his own. Gatomon promptly commented that while having a manor would be a great thing, who'd clean up the dust from the unused rooms. They'd laughed at the comment and Patamon let out a huff of mock indignation before laughing himself. Even TK was a bit more relaxed. He was probably feeling a little paranoid. Although he didn't speak about it, the mansion on File Island that was Devimon's lair still made him nervous and he still kept a sharp eye for anything that might cause them trouble.Digimon included. But the more he saw of Eloinan, the more he wondered if it was simply paranoia. He watched as Kari took more pictures of their surroundings before walking back to join them. “Are you sure you have enough space on the memory cards for all of the pictures?” TK asked as Kari was going through the pictures she had already taken. The girl nodded, a warm smile still on her face.“I'll be fine.” She answered with a smile and followed Maschinenmon into the manor. The Digimon lead the four of them towards an ornate greeting room towards the rear of the manor. The windows overlooked the gardens and the flowers that were forever in bloom. Crimson curtains were held back with golden clasps, a small table with a red cloth was placed against the far wall, food having been placed, jugs of drinks and goblets were on offer. Crimson and gold were the themes of the room. None so much in the appearance of their hostess. She stood in the centre of the room, arms spread out in greeting. There was an aura surrounding her; regal and authoritive but welcoming. Her smile was bright at the appearance of her new guests. Maschinenmon stepped forward before bowing towards the Digimon.“Lord Takeru, Lady Hikari, Patamon and Gatomon, allow me the honour of introducing you to Sireniamon; Queen of Eloinan, our leader.”The Digimon stepped forward, her elegant gown sweeping across the floor behind her with every step. Her heeled boots clacking on the floor. “And allow me the honour of welcoming you to Eloinan. I have met one, and now I have met two more Digidestined. I can only hope to meet you all in good time.” She spoke with a soft voice, though there was a haughty tone to it.Kari smiled and stepped forward, finding herself dipping in a curtsey. “It's an honour to meet you, and thank you inviting us into your wonderful home.” Kari looked around at the room, before a thought arose. “My brother was here before us, where is Tai and Agumon?”TK had noticed that. Tai had requested that Maschinenmon meet them at the entrance to the city, yet he was no where to be seen. Sireniamon looked to the bronze Digimon before snapping her fingers. The lights dimmed for a moment. When they returned to normal, she was joined by Tai himself. The four were stunned at the fact that he had seemingly appeared out of nowhere. What surprised them even more was his attire.“Tai?” “It's Taichi, my young friend. Come now Takeru you are one of the more polite members of the Digidestined; I would have thought you'd know the value of using our proper names.” His voice had the same haughty tone that Sireniamon had. What was worse was the fact that it was cold. It wasn't his normal upbeat and determined voice. He sounded... Well snobbish was a word that came to TK's mind. The blonde shook his head.Eyes looking over his clothes, the suit, the ruffled blouse and formal shorts, it was the keychain of Koromon pinned to the lapel of his jacket that shocked TK the most. “Kari... we need to leave.” He said to her, who looked just as surprised and a little disturbed by the sight of her brother. She looked him up and down, noticing the keychain as well.“Where's Agumon?” Kari asked, before clenching her fists. “Tai, where's Agumon?” she asked again though her tone was more forceful. She watched as Tai tapped the keychain, smirking as he did so. That smirk reminded Kari of when Ken was the Digimon Emperor. She turned to Sireniamon. “What did you do to my brother?”“Other than raise him up to his proper place as a Lord? I've done nothing.” Sireniamon placed a gloved hand on Tai's shoulder. He bowed his head, almost subservient to the Digimon. “He realised that there is nobility in him, I helped bring that nobility to the surface. It is his true nature.”“That doesn't explain his magic trick of appearing out of thin air.” Gatomon growled, her claws out and ready. She had leapt in front of Kari and was ready to defend her. Sireniamon grinned before she locked eyes with Gatomon. A flash of blue and the Digimon was frozen in place, unable to move.“Gatomon?” Kari was shocked, and something in her caused her to charge forward. Whether she hoped to break Gatomon free or not was unknown. She just acted on instinct. Tai stood between the two of them, causing Kari to pause. TK ran to her, taking her hand and glaring at Tai and Sireniamon. “Let Gatomon go!”“I don't think I will. She asked how Taichi was able to appear out of thin air. I'll happily show you.” There was another flash of blue and Kari instinctively looked to Gatomon. The champion Digimon was now Salamon. Another flash of blue, and Salamon became Nyaromon. Only she wasn't a Digimon. Not anymore. Like Koromon, Nyaromon had been transformed into a keychain. “I have given Taichi new powers and abilities. The source of his power comes from the keychain pinned to his lapel.”“We need to get out of here Kari.” TK tried to pull Kari back, but she was rooted to the spot. Her eyes were wide as she stared at the keychain of her partner Digimon. “Kari!” She snapped out of it before reaching to grab the keychain. They brushed past Maschinenmon and made for the door out. The machine Digimon tried to stop them but a wave from Sireniamon caused him to stop. When they were out of the door did she explain her reasons.“Let them run. I shall separate the two of them and we'll go from there. Lord Taichi, I leave Hikari to you. I'll handle Takeru personally.”“My lady, are you sure that is wise? They could escape.” Maschinenmon stated, watching as they disappeared from sight.“If they stood there and let it happen then it would be too easy. A little chase never hurt anyone. Besides, I control this building, It is child’s play to change the location of the exit.” Sireniamon explained with a grin on her face. She turned to Taichi, nodding. “Go and find your sister.”“It will be the utmost pleasure to lift Hikari to the heights of nobility. To show my sister where she belongs.” Taichi bowed deeply, a smirk across his face at the chase to come.-X-In their rush to escape, neither of them knew which route to take. They had thought that they were retracing their steps to the entrance but found it to be a dead-end. They had doubled back and went a different route. Another dead-end. TK, Kari and Patamon tried multiple ways out but after their sixth attempt it became clear that they weren't getting out.“She must be able to manipulate the building to her desires.” TK guessed, panting and trying to catch his breath. He looked up and around. They had found a small area that was out of the way, on the top floor of the manor and away from prying eyes. Patamon was on the ground, keeping an eye out for anyone that might come their way. Kari sat on the ground, slumped against the wall. In her hands she had the keychain of Nyaromon, hoping that the spell was temporary. That whatever Sireniamon had done would wear off within a certain time. Kari sighed.Looking towards her, TK knelt down in front of her. “We've seen this before.” He didn't want to say it, but the keychains were too much of a coincidence. “Piedmon. Whether Sireniamon and Piedmon are one in the same I don't know, but we beat him before and we'll do so again.” He hoped he sounded reassuring, and Kari blinked before looking up. “We'll get Nyaromon, Tai and Koromon back to normal and we'll beat Sireniamon.”“TK.” she breathed before leaning in, kissing him gently on the lips before smiling. “How is it you always know what to say when I need cheering up?” Kari asked with a soft giggle. TK shrugged his shoulders.“I don't know but...” TK's eyes widened as he saw the wall come apart in data. Caught by surprise, Kari fell back through the hole. Before TK could pull her out, the wall closed in on itself. “Kari!” TK pounded on the wall, uncaring of the pain it caused. He tried to beat against it but was unable to do so. He punched the wall, this time wincing in pain as he gripped his hand and rubbed it. “Kari!” he called out again. He turned to Patamon who had flown to join him, wondering what was going on. “We need to find her!”“But where do we start? This place is a maze!” TK sighed and shook his head.“I don't know, but we'll start somewhere. We'll follow this hallway and... I don't know. We'll start kicking down doors until we find her and then we can get out.” TK started to run and Patamon quickly flew behind, trying to catch up. He was going to make a comment that he sounded like Davis but thought against it. There was a time and a place for such comments and that wasn't it.-X-TK had been running through the hallways, stopping at each door and looking inside. He had found nothing but empty storage rooms and unused bedrooms. No sign of Kari, nor was there any sign of Sireniamon or Tai. They were bound to be looking for the two of them. TK only hoped that Kari hadn't fallen into either of their hands. If it was Sireniamon who had turned Tai into a snob then there was no telling what she'd do to Kari.“TK we need to come up with a plan!”“We have a plan, Patamon. Keep looking until we find Kari.”“I mean a better plan!” He breathed before looking around, fluttering before TK in a hope to get him to stop and think for a moment. “Find a way out, get in touch with the others and then come back in force. We can't do this on our own.”The blonde didn't respond to the suggestion. He stepped around Patamon and moved to the next door before barging through. This time it wasn't an empty storage room or an unused bedroom. He had stepped into a dressing room and looked around. Patamon followed on behind and blinked. “Digimon tend not to wear clothes. These look like they're made for humans.” TK nodded his agreement. Numerous dresses and gowns inspired by the Lolita fashion that many wore back in Japan, including Mimi who had started to take a liking towards the fashion style more than anything. He looked around before shaking his head. “We need to keep moving.” Turning to the door, his eyes widened again. It was gone. The door they had come through was no longer there. Just the cream coloured wallpaper that decorated the rest of the walls. There was a chuckle from behind them. Standing in the centre of the room, Sireniamon ran a hand through the nearest rail of dresses, feeling the texture through her fingers. “I see you've found my dressing room. I told Maschinenmon to have patience, that you'd come to us in time. As usual I was right, but he's a mere servant. I am the mistress and queen of the city, the Lady of Eloinan.”“Where's Kari?” TK wasn't in the mood for hearing her drone on. He wanted Kari back and wasn't going to wait forever. “Patamon, get us out of here!” The Digimon was already firing boom bubbles at Sireniamon, though he quickly turned his attack against the walls. It was to no avail though; they bounced harmlessly from the walls and merely dissipated into nothing. Sireniamon chuckled at the attempt, shaking her head before stepping towards TK. Patamon flew before the Digimon, though a flash of blue and the rookie Digimon was frozen in mid-flight and fell to the ground. Eyes widened, TK reached down to grab him but Sireniamon stopped him. She grabbed his wrist, though it wasn't with any malice or force. Her eyes showed care, compassion. There was a gentleness that went against her nature. Her haughtiness, her casual attitude towards the fact that she had brainwashed Tai, gave him strange powers and turned Koromon into a keychain.“You need not fight this my dear. I am only here to help you become who you were meant to be. You are nobility personified, and I shall help you with that.”“Who were you before you became Sireniamon?” TK asked, forcing his wrist away from the strange Digimon. “Piedmon?”For a moment all was silent except the rapid beating of TK's heart. Then it was broken with a silent chuckle, which became an almost manic laugh. Mania became jovial. “You figured it out? Of course you did! You and the girl were the ones that got away, that defeated me! It is to be expected and commended that you worked it out. Let me guess, the keychains?”“How is it you've returned?” TK stepped away from the taller Digimon before shaking his head. “You were banished, I saw MagnaAngemon send you through the gate.”“He did,” Sireniamon acknowledged the fact with a nod of her head before looking at herself up and down. “and for years I languished in solitude. But it allowed me to think, to plot and plan my revenge. At first I believed that destroying you all would suit me. Then I considered taking over the Digital World with the original Digidestined at my side. But then it hit me; as data I was able to access what you called the internet and I discovered many wondrous things. The most interesting thing I read was a theoretical paper about how the world could not survive as it is, that it had to change. And so I started plotting, and with many influences I created Eloinan and this society. I gained enough power to create my new form and... well here I stand, no longer Piedmon but Sireniamon. Elegance personified and I am ready to begin my plans. I believe Taichi has finished helping his sister embrace her nobility, helping her take her rightful place above the common rabble.”“No!” TK shouted, causing Sireniamon to step back, not expecting the response she got from the young blonde. “Kari has always put others before herself, she has never seen herself as better than anyone. There is no way that she'd become as snobbish and haughty as you or Tai.”A grin crossed Sireniamon's face. She remained quiet, but gestured behind TK with a nod of her head.Turning around, TK was stunned to see Tai and Kari standing there. Tai had a smug look on his face, and a gloved hand resting on Kari's shoulder. She had been transformed. Her eyes showed a mixture of contempt and disdain at the sight. TK didn't need to be told, but he knew from the look that she had been brainwashed in the same way as Tai had. Kari's entire appearance had changed, and not for the better. She was dressed in a three piece Lolita outfit; long pink skirt embroidered with roses and a white lace hemming; a pink double breasted waistcoat with matching embroidery and a high necked white long sleeve blouse that had a pink bow tied around her neck, settling across the front of her waistcoat. Her feet were encased in white boots which had a chunky two inch heel. Even Kari's hair had changed. It had grown longer and had been styled in a French braid. The final addition was a hair band with a pink rose, Nyaromon's keychain dangling from it.“Kari?”“Lady Hikari to you, Takeru.” she responded in a sickeningly sweet voice; at once haughty and much like Tai's voice under the influence of Sireniamon's brainwashing. “And Lady Sireniamon is quite correct; my dear brother has helped me see that life is so much better once I embraced the fact that I am above the peons who still live thanks to our actions. We have fought and given so much, I believe this is fair recompense for the wasted years.”“Wasted? Kari, none of this was wasted. We were chosen, you were chosen for a reason. Because you are a Digidestined, a child of light, not... you're noble because you put others before yourself!”“And maybe that was what I was doing wrong.” There was venom in her voice, and she glared at TK. “You have given so much Takeru; Patamon's sacrifice and your fear that the darkness will return.” Her voice returned to the same haughty tone it had, but it was softer. There was still some of the Kari that TK had fallen in love with. She glided across the floor, closing the distance between the two of them. She didn't let TK speak, but cupped his cheek and leaned forward. “By joining Sireniamon, you can let go of your fear, of your doubt. I know Gatomon has been turned into a keychain but need not worry. She and I are one, just as Agumon is one with Taichi. Just as Patamon will be with you, just as we will still be one.” She closed the distance, reached up and kissed TK on the lips. They embraced one another, TK forgetting about what was happening and in that moment, he fell under Sireniamon's spell. The powers gained by the keychains were different for everyone. Taichi was able to vanish and appear at will. Hikari's powers were similar to Gatomon's cat's eye hypnotism. With a kiss, she could manipulate TK and she did so. She had him follow her towards the clothing lines, but towards the dresses, not the various suits.“Lord Taichi, a woman must have some privacy while changing. I must ask you to give us the room.” Sireniamon instructed, to which Taichi bowed deeply.“Of course my Queen. I shall be in the garden should you need me.” And with that, Taichi vanished, leaving Hikari and Sireniamon to begin TK's transformation.Turning to the enthralled form of TK, Sireniamon reached down and picked up the prone form of Patamon. Her eyes flashed, her magic flowed through the Digimon's form and he de-digivolved into Tokomon, before another flash transformed him into a keychain, ready to be added to TK's new look. “We are in an agreement, that TK is to join the fairer sex?”“It is your will, my Queen. As you said, balance is important. Five lords to three ladies is far from appropriate. Lady Takera sounds far better than Lord Takeru.” Hikari responded before helping TK strip down to his underwear, though a click of Sireniamon's fingers and his briefs became a pair of knee length bloomers with ruffles up and down the legs and ribbons running along the waistline. The magic also had the added effect of shrinking TK's height. He had been taller than Hikari by some inches, now he was the same height as Hikari, though with her heels the latter was still taller than the soon-to-be girl by two inches. The first piece of clothing Hikari produced beyond the bloomers was an elegant floor length Lolita dress; it was an elegant yellow gown, the skirt ballooning out on all sides thanks to the multiple petticoats underneath. The skirt was ruffled and a peach coloured ribbon was tied in a bow at the back that brushed across the floor behind. The bodice had short sleeves, puffed with white lace trimming. With every minute TK wore the garment, his body continued to transform. Hikari went through the accessories. Lace gloves adorned TK's now dainty hands and his hair had lengthened and styled into long drills on both sides of his head. Beyond the pearl necklace and earrings, the only decoration was of a miniature top-hat headband in which the keychain of Tokomon dangled from a trio of golden flowers that were fixed to the hat.His feminine features were softened with the help of Sireniamon's magic. At the end of it all, TK was no longer male. Everything about him had been transformed. He was much more feminine and graceful. With the transformation complete; Hikari stood before the newly christened Takera before taking her hand and kissing it, breaking the spell Hikari had placed on the former male. With Sireniamon's enchantment flowing through the keychain, the ideals of nobility, of being above the lower classes had took over all of TK's ideals of right and wrong. Basketball was gone as a hobby; fashion, tea parties and dancing had replaced them and were all the hobbies she needed. Before he would have helped anyone, done anything for those who needed it. The girl in his place was the opposite. She would never help those beneath her. Takera was better than them all. The only people she would show obedience to were her fellow nobles in the Digidestined, and her Queen Sireniamon. One thing that did remain from TK was her love for Hikari. She took the other girl's hands before smiling warmly. “You have helped me see the truth Hikari and for that I shall forever be grateful.” Takera's voice was soft but firm. “This is far more suitable for a noble lady such as myself.”“You need not thank me, my love.” Hikari responded, her own feelings for Takera were the same for Takeru. Despite their changes, they were still a couple. They both turned towards Sireniamon, and thanks to the knowledge her influence had given them; both executed a perfect curtsy.“My Queen, please forgive me. You were right, I should have seen the truth before and I humbly beg forgiveness.” Takera had her eyes to the ground, showing her respect for her Queen.“You need not ask, because there is nothing to forgive. You had yet to see the wonders that the upper class can bring. You are a Lady now Takera, in both body and title. This is your new life.” Sireniamon responded with a nod before gesturing for the two to follow. A door appeared in the wall where before, TK had come in, but now Takera was leaving the room. She took Hikari's hand and side by side, they followed Sireniamon out of the room. The Queen merely grinned.Three down, another five to go.
