Lisa Dean carded her fingers through her damp hair, as she thoroughly examined her reflection in the bathroom mirror. It had been almost 7 months since she'd made her deal with the devil, and she was finally back on her feet. Several scars lined her body from the beating that'd almost killed her, and her mind still lapsed into depression or anxiety from time to time. But the worst was over. The woman's physicality was in top shape, and her mind was getting there.
Lisa now stood in her bathroom, towel draped around her frame as she looked at herself in

Alice Phantomhive shuddered in disgust, as blood ran down her glove, forever staining the once premium white fabric. A soft cry escaped her lips as she quickly pulled her hand away from the alley wall. The smell of iron and putrid decay clogged her nose with unwanted clarity, and she fought not to retch.
"Alice… Come away. You don't need to see this."
Alice turned to gaze at the demoness she called 'Aunt' with teary eyes. "No, Ellie. It's awful, but I can't look away. . . Ciel isn't here to fix this. We have to make up for his absence..."
"Your cousin wouldn't fault you for walking away, sweetli

Ever since the night of the Labyrinthe Ball, Alexiel had been on edge. After all, it wasn't everyday that a mere mortal got to dance with a Demon and an Angel in the same night…
The Dominion Angel's threat had lingered, hovering over the woman's head, waiting to drop. Nothing had happened since then, but Alexiel knew that it was only a matter of time... And Sir Crow was being absolutely no help at all.
Whenever Alexiel had broached the subject of Angels, the Demon had given her that infuriating, tight-lipped smile of his and immediately changed the topic of conversation.
Finally, after days of botc

The work day was almost over, and Alexiel found herself counting down the minutes. After finishing her scheduled tasks and all her extra projects, she had nothing left to do. Being speedy and efficient was sometimes a curse…
The woman checked her phone several times, hoping for something to dissuade her boredom. Between longing glances out the large window near her desk, she texted several of her friends. Though when she received simple one word replies, she got frustrated and proceeded to put her cell away. She scrambled to find anything to do that was work related, and was failing miserably,

Overrated | William T. Spears x Reader
“Love is overrated.”
Will could never quite tell what originally drew him into you. There was nothing particular about you that stood out to him; you were quiet and you could maintain complete focus whenever the two of you were on the job. Your behavior didn’t differ too greatly from his own and he supposed you were quite attractive, though he didn’t believe those were the only causes for his attraction towards you.
Your personality was another factor to consider. Throughout his whole life of being a reaper, not once had he ever had a partner who mourned the life of the person whose soul they reaped more tha

"(y/n)!" echoed through the halls of the dimly-lit Trancy manor, late in the evening. (y/n) sighed as she stood and dropped the scrub brush she had just been using to scrub vigorously at the floor where Alois had tracked in multiple layers of mud. The same shout echoed again, only slightly more desperate this time. The maid, quite young for the occupation, drug herself down the hallway to Alois's room, a room she grew tired of being called into every few hours, even during the night.
"What do you need now, Alois?" she asked, trying to sound as awake as she could manage. His eyes darkened into a glare at her remark.
"You are to call

Humans: such intriguing creatures one and all. Often times more apt to break or bend, but still unwilling to give up. Through storms of all sorts, they would rise up and try to better themselves; save for the more twisted lot who craved something other than enlightenment or love. They were never-ending and he had learned it all too well. Even the ones who he had consumed over the years, still lingered within him, as individual and emotional as they'd ever been in life.
"Oh, what tangled webs you weave," the demon thought as he flew over Southern California in the form of a crow. "Scrambling day in

Yandere warning: obsession, isolation, slight sadism
"My darling! Time to wake up! Have you missed me?"
No, you hadn't.
"You did, didn't you? I missed you too! I couldn't sleep a bit last night because I was missing you so much."
You couldn't sleep last night either for the demons that came to check on you throughout the night, their inhuman eyes boring into your back from between the intricate bars or your cage.
"Hey, (y/n)..."
You kept your eyes down, back turned to the blonde who had locked you away like some precious pet. Faintly, you felt him pick up a lock of your hair, twirling it between his fingers.
"Won't you look at me?"

You really wished you didn’t have to go out of the house, but your friends insisted that you all go to the newest attraction in town: the circus.
When you tried to protest that you didn’t like clowns – in fact, you hated them. Their creepy smiles always haunt your nightmares, and to be honest, you were just happier without them. (Your friends promised you

It was mid morning when Lisa Dean awoke, head aching and body stiff. The woman blinked harshly in the darkness of the loft, blue gaze lifted towards the white washed ceiling. For sometime, she merely concentrated on focusing her eyes, taking care not to push them too far. Finally she succeeded, though it took far longer than she wanted.
It had been a full week since she had finalized her demon contract with Sebastian Michaelis. Her body was still painted with bruises, and she was admittedly weaker than she’d have liked, but the worst was sure
